Eagle, Isabel (nee Spies)
1930 – 2018
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Listowel Memorial Hospital, at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Roy Eagle (1991). Isabel was the dear mother of the late Jim Eagle (2017) and devoted mother-in-law of Brenda Eagle of Waterloo. Proud grandmother of Christopher (Amy) and doting great-grandmother of Oliver, all of Victoria, BC. Survived by her sisters Margaret Gibson and Jean Brundage. Isabel is lovingly remembered by her extended family and many friends. Isabel and her husband Roy spent many happy years operating Eagle’s Ladies Fashions and Eagle’s Bridal Centre in Listowel. At Isabel’s request cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, December 23, 2018 from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A reception will follow. In Isabel’s memory, donations to Listowel Memorial Hospital or Innisfree House would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
