Passed peacefully surrounded by all of her devoted children on October 10, 2018, Isabelle Dunne (nee Hicks), aged 90 years. Predeceased by her loving husband John Dunne; brother Aiden Hicks, sister Mary Walsh, grandson David Andrews, son-in-law Bob Thorburn, sister Doreen Hawco, and son-in-law Bill Ellison. Left with precious memories children Carmel Anne Ellison, John (Beth), Paul (Alison Mews), Maureen, Corinne (Eric Tiller) and Peter; grandchildren Karen, Marc, Christian John, John Matthew, Aiden, Laura, Andrea, Casey, Jack; great-grandchildren Max, Leo, Griffin, Thea, Alex and Jacob; and special sister-in-law Mae Lyons Hicks. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Sunday, October 14 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Mary Queen of Peace Church, 135 Torbay Road, on Monday, October 15 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted, or donations in Isabelle’s memory may be made to the Mary Queen of Peace Food Bank.
