Obituary of Helen Putman
Of Wainfleet, ON went to be with her Lord on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Haldimand War Memorial Hospital, Dunnville at the age of 95. She was born in Dunnville on November 9, 1922 to Hugh and Anna (Brown) Miller. Predeceased by her husband Alvin (1984), son Alan (2000) (Kathy), brothers Carson, Keith; and sisters Gladys and Lois. Helen is survived by her son Gary (Sylvia); grandchildren Barbara-Anne (James) Friesz, Clark (Julia), April Jeffs (John Vujasic); and great-grandchildren Braeden, Madeleine, Gordy, Thomas, Jamison, and Elianna. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Thank you to Dr. Bernard and the nurses and staff at H.W.M.H. Special thanks to nurses Tina, Esther and Al. Friends will be received for visitation at Wainfleet Brethren In Christ Church (corner of Perry Rd and Hwy 3) on Wednesday, January 17 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A service will take place at the church on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Wainfleet. Memorial donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee or Dunnville Hospital & Healthcare Foundation.
