Helen F. M. Wheaton
1928-2018

2018
Passed away peacefully in the calm of
the Sackville Memorial Hospital Serenity Suite, surrounded by her
family, Helen Wheaton, age 90, on
Saturday, October 13, 2018.
Born in Frosty Hollow, she was the
daughter of Charlie and Flossie (Reid)
McKinnon.
She was predeceased by her loving
husband of 50 years, Manning, the son of Bliss and Annie (Milton)
Wheaton. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family,
having been predeceased by three brothers (Arnold, Mac and Jesse) and
four sisters (Stella, Myrtie, Marion and Dorry). Also predeceased by a
grandson, Nathan Wheaton, and a special nephew and niece, Stanley
« Buddy » Ward and Ruth (Ward)
Bulmer.
Leaving to mourn three sons: Doug
(Annabel) and Brian (Sandy), Moncton, and Kevin, Ottawa. One daughter:
Marilyn (Ed) Keller, Abbotsford, BC. Six grandchildren: Amanda (Sean),
Alison (Justin), Amy, Christopher (Renee), Megan (Kyle) and Matthew.
Six great-grandchildren: Connor, Caleigh, Olivia, Xavier, Liam and
Kylie. She will also be sadly missed by her cats, whom she
loved.
Arrangements have been entrusted to
Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St.,
Sackville, NB (506-364-1300). Honouring Helen’s wishes,
there is to be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside committal
service will be held at the Westcock Cemetery on Saturday, October 20,
at 11:30 am, Pastor Andrew Swanson
officiating.
Donations in memory of Helen may be made
to the Westcock Cemetery Fund or a charity of your
choice.
