Obituary of Hazel Arnold
ARNOLD, Hazel Editha (nee Walker) passed away peacefully in her 100th year at Riverside Glen, Guelph, on Tuesday, January 23, 2018. She was the wife of the late Edward Arnold (1985). Predeceased by her parents Samuel and Evelyn Walker, her sisters Alice Dodgson, Bess Harrison and brother George Walker. Beloved aunt of Diane FitzGerald (Harrison), Fred Harrison, Jim Walker, Peter (Valerie) Walker, and David Walker. She was a devoted aunt to her great nieces and great nephews (especially Brenda FitzGerald, Maura Laplaunte and Gar (Wendy) FitzGerald), and to her great great nieces and great great nephews. Hazel will be sadly missed by Grace Harrison, Heather Otten, Patricia Gail Langridge, John and Janice Dodgson. She was a very loving person who took great pleasure in her many friends and their families. One of her great loves was St. George’s Anglican Church, where she worshipped for over 90 years. Resting at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown, on Tuesday, January 30 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 31 at St. George’s Anglican Church, 60 Guelph Street, Georgetown, at 11:00 a.m. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
