James William Hayman
1946 – 2018
After a short illness, we are sad to announce that Jim passed away on May 26, 2018. Jim was born on January 6, 1946 in Toronto, ON to William and Shirley Hayman. After a short stint in the Navy, Jim had a long career in Sales Management. He met his wife Dianne in West Kelowna and continued to live there until his death.
Jim loved sports, especially hockey. He coached minor hockey for many years and played Old Timers Hockey as well as recreational baseball. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren Katherine, Seth, Casey, Emily and Chloe.
He was predeceased by his mother Shirley Burtis in 2006 and his father William Hayman in 2009. He is survived by his wife of nearly 35 years, Dianne Hayman, son James R. Hayman and family, daughter Michelle Hayman and family, stepson Shaune (Christina) Gautron and their children; Katherine, Seth, Casey and Emily, stepson Chad (Jennifer) Gautron and their daughter Chloe, his sister Suzanne (Ken) Chubb and family, sister Pamela (Sheri) Hayman and family, and cousin Richard (Carole) Field and family.
