1934-2018
Hartley Myles Cameron, 84 of River Glade passed
away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at the Moncton Hospital with family by
his side.
Born in Millstream, along with his twelve
siblings, he was the son of the late William and Tressa (Stein)
Cameron. Hartley worked for Coleman Camping Equipment,
Ontario and then Fawcett’s Lumber Mill, Petitcodiac until he
retired. He enjoyed the woods and cutting his winter wood
and ski-dooing. He took pride in everything he did. He was a
Mr. Fix-it who never gave up on a challenge and he had a real passion
for cars and always keeping his car spotless. Most of all
Hartley loved being with his family, friends and his special friend
Chevy.
He is survived and sadly missed by his wife of 62
years Velda Cameron; daughter Alvenia St. Amand (Keith), River Glade;
grandchildren Fay Getson (Allan), Brenda Garland (Ralph), Ernie
Delarge, Justin Delarge (Rebecca), Amanda St. Amand, Ben Urquhart and
Mel Parlee (Jerrika); thirteen great grandchildren; four great great
grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides his
parents he is predeceased by his daughter Fay; son-in-law Bill
Delarge; grandson Hartley Delarge; three brothers and one
sister.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106
(372-4800) visiting will be Thursday, December 20 from 5 to 8 pm and
from where the funeral will be held Friday, December 21 at 1 pm in the
chapel. Interment at Middle Cemetery at a later
date.
If desired, donations to the Red Cross or a
charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
