It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Gregory Calvin Philip Francis announces his sudden passing in Westville, NS on Friday, September 14th, 2018 at the age of 27 years. Gregory was predeceased by his grandparents Benjamin (Susan) Wells (nee Scott), Gladys (Philip) Dicks (nee Neil); aunt Nancy Lawrence (nee Wells); cousin Ryan Wells; great-grandfather Percy Taylor and great-grandparents Philip (Nita) Francis (nee Bennett).
He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving parents Nolan Wells and Netta Francis-Wells; sons Dominic Francis, Aidan Spracklin; twin brothers Jesse Wells, Ryan Wells; grandparents Calvin (Dorothy) Francis (nee Taylor) of Margaree, NL, great-grandmother Nan Taylor (Violet) of Port aux Basques, NL; aunts and uncles Angela (Edward) Bungay of Halifax, NS, Yvonne (Jonathan) Wadden of Stephenville, NL, Doreen (Blanford) Billard, Sabrina (Ephriam) Harvey both of Isle aux Morts, NL, Gregory (Shelia) Wells of St. Catharines, Ont, Larry Wells (Edna Lushman) of Isle aux Morts, NL, Cynthia (Cindy) Wells of St. Catharines, Ont, Fenton (Carolyn) Wells of Port Colburne, Ont, Suzanne (Lew) Donaldson, Bill (Daisy) Wells both of St. Catharines, Ont; special cousin which was considered to be a brother Justin Francis, plus a large circle of cousins, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 20th, 2018 from 7-9 pm and on Friday, September 21st, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. in Port aux Basques, NL. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 22nd, 2018 at 2 pm at the Wesley United Church in Port aux Basques, NL officiated by The Rev. Patricia Ritchie. In keeping with Gregory’s wishes cremation will follow with interment of ashes to take place at a later date. Flowers are graciously accepted..
