Gordon Henry Elliott, long time resident of Bowser and active member of the community, passed away at 67 on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Comox Valley Hospital after suffering a series of hemorrhagic strokes.
Gord was born on August 30, 1950 in Sarnia, Ontario, to Winifred and Allan Elliott. He moved to BC in his early 20’s and made Bowser his home. He found his passion as a welder, met the love of his life, Glenda, and raised his family in a place he thought was “the best on earth”.
Predeceased by his son, Kyle and mother, Winifred, Gord is survived by his wife of 38 years, Glenda; daughters, Kristin (Chris) Moon and Melissa (Toby) Taylor; grandchildren, Sawyer and Jack Moon, Emily and Eli Taylor; father, Allan Elliott and brother; Gary Elliott of London, Ontario. He is also survived by many many wonderful friends that he has made over the years.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at the Lighthouse Community Centre, 240 Lions Way in Qualicum Bay.
