OBITUARY
Gordon Firth
26 October , 1927 – 2 May , 2018
Gordon left us in his 90th year and is deeply mourned by Mary Ann, his wife of 61 years; his sons David (Marilyn) and Colin; his granddaughter Amy; his sister-in-law Margaret; and extended family in Ontario. He was predeceased by his brothers Douglas and Donald and his sister Betty.
Gordon was ordained into the ministry of the Presbyterian Church in 1956 and served in Biggar, SK, Banff, AB and Knox Presbyterian in Calgary. He devoted twenty years of his ministry to providing affordable housing for seniors and families through his work with Interfaith Housing. In his retirement, he conducted services for Orkney Presbyterian Church near Drumheller.
Gordon will be sorely missed but he will always live in our hearts.
A Private Service will be held for the family.
