Gillian Jean White passed away peacefully February 15th, 2018 after a courageous 5 year battle with cancer. She passed comfortably and surrounded by love in her home at the age of 56.
She will be deeply missed by her children, Justine and Adam White; parents Allan and Jean Nicol; sister Jennifer (Mark) and nephew Nicolas Pelesh, as well as her many loving and supportive friends.

She graduated from Carson Graham Secondary in 1979 and soon went on to become a financial advisor with the Royal Bank of Canada. She was employed by RBC for 39 years and throughout her career built an amazing network of life long friends. She moved to Kelowna in 1993 and enjoyed touring wineries, going for picnics and spending time with her friends and family.
Gillian’s family would like to thank her amazing team of doctors, especially Dr. Koss, who continuously went above and beyond. They would also like to thank the team of palliative nurses and home-care aids for their loving support and compassion that brought comfort to Gillian and her family as she spent her final days at home.
A celebration of life will be held at 2pm on March 3rd, 2018 at the Coast Capri hotel located at 1171 Harvey Avenue.
