OBITUARY
Gerta Mae Grieve
November 28, 1964 – June 7, 2018
It is with deep sadness we announce the death of our beloved daughter and sister Gerta Mae Grieve.
Gerta was a dear aunt, friend, and colleague, loved and respected by many. A natural teacher, she thoroughly enjoyed the challenges and rewards her students brought her. The care and rights of animals, and the stewardship of the environment were her passions. She was fierce in her beliefs, was a wicked and funny raconteur and she never ever gave up.
Gerta is survived by her mother Gertrude Grieve, her sisters Elizabeth and Suzanne, brothers David, Michael and Bruce, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father James Grieve.
Gerta and her family would like to thank the teams at the Cross Cancer Institute and Unit #43, Grey Nuns Hospital for their kindness, support and care. As well, to her dear friends who were by her side when they were needed.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Memories Funeral Home, 13403 St. Albert Trail, Edmonton.
