Obituary of Gerard Guindon
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Woodlands of Sunset in his 91st year.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 72 years Nettie, and his children Joanne Beauchamp, David (Sharon), Albert (Kim Slugoski) and Jerry (Teresa). Much loved grandpa of 12 and great grandpa of many. Also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his cherished daughter Cindy Kitchingman, sister Jean (Clifford) Grist and brother Jean-Marc.
Gerard was a proud INCO employee, retiring in 1984 after 38 ½ years.
Gerard’s family will receive friends at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Armstrong Chapel with Rev. Canon Robert Hurkmans officiating. Burial following in Oakwood Cemetery, Wainfleet.
