Gerald’s Obituary
MORSE, Gerald Norman “Gerry” – Kingston, NS Passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton with his family by his side. Born in Kingston he was a son of the late Adolphus and Annie (Zinck) Morse. In Gerry’s earlier years he worked on The Great Lake freighters. Later after returning to Nova Scotia he worked at O.H. Armstrong’s for over 15 years. He was also very involved with the MACS Centre in North Kingston and was very involved with the self-help community. Gerry will be remembered for his kind nature and huge heart. He loved spending his time with his family and his little guard dogs Jinx and Princess. He loved to spend time with his friends watching Coronation Street and Nascar races. He was the biggest fan of his two Grandchildren and he could always be found on the sidelines cheering for them at hockey and soccer. Gerry is survived by his loving wife, Margaret (Shaw); daughter, Tanya (Matthew) Hazelwood, Torbrook Mines; brother, John, Kingston and grandchildren, Nicholas and Anna. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a sister in infancy. There will be a visitation from 6-8 p.m. Monday, November 26th at the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., 902 825-3448, where a Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 27, with Rev.
