George Carrier
The death of George Carrier of Lorne occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the age of 88. Born in Lorne, he was the son of the late Patrick and Ida Marie (Godin) Carrier.
George is survived by his children Owen (Debbie) of Bathurst, Ronnie (Lorrina) of Lorne, Peggy Carrier (Wade) of Lorne, Reggie (Linda) of St. Paul, Sally Savoie (Rene) of Beresford, Adam (Shelley) of Chipman, Michael (Alice) of Seaside, Opal Duplessis (Dwayne) of Lorne, Claude of McLeods; 17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren as well as his sisters Leona, Rita, Murriel and brother Harold and special friend Jessie Devereaux. He was predeceased by his wife Cecille; 9 infant children, grandson Cal and infant granddaughter Michelle as well as his siblings Willard, Joseph David, Roy, Percy, Marie Isabella, Harold and Opal.
His funeral will be held from St.Maria Goretti Church, Lorne on Tuesday, June 05, 2018 at 11 am. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.
