Garry John Petherick
PETHERICK, Garry it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Garry at the Trenton Memorial Hospital on Saturday, December 22nd, 2018, at the age of 65. Loving son of Jean (nee Laundry), and the late Leslie Petherick. Beloved husband of Debbi Petherick (nee Schafer) for 43 wonderful years together. Devoted Dad to Les Petherick and his wife Lindsay, and Kelly Petherick and her husband Steve Whaley. Proud grampa to Nathan and Shaelyn. Dear brother of Betty Horton (Ernest), Joan Danton (Barry), Linda Wilson (Frank), Kenneth « Butch » Laundry (Sharon), Judy Richardson, and Susan McCaw (Allen). Ever remembered son-in-law to Beth Schafer (nee Frank) and the late Elmer Schafer, brother-in-law to Wendy Adams (late Mark), Sue Klassen (Bob), Norma Chmelyk (Darren), and loving nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Quinte Lutheran Church, Holy Trinity Anglican Church, TMH Foundation or a Charity of Your Choice would be appreciated by the family.
