Retired Captain – Canadian Guards
Peacefully at home on Christmas day, Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by his wife Margaret Alpe. Dear father of Stephen (Virginia) and Andrew (Francine). Loving grandfather of Stephanie (Sheldon), Allison, Christopher, Elizabeth and great-grandfather of Sophie and Lily. Frederick will be dearly missed by his friend Teresa Burton, who`s love and devotion enhanced his later years, and their many travel adventures fascinated family and friends. Fondly remembered by Alexandre and Marie-Eve Meloche and the Rooney family. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Saturday, December 29, 2018, after 1 pm, followed by a Memorial Service in the Chapel at 2 pm. A heartfelt thank you from Teresa and the family to Dr. Louise Coulombe for her devoted care. In memoriam donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
