Greg parted from my life far too early and unexpectedly. He lived his life to the fullest and accomplished more than most dream of. His illnesses never prevented him from his passion to travel, it was what he lived for. Of course no trip would be complete without a visit to a hospital. The standard question upon returning home was “What did he break this time?” One of his favourite journeys was when we circled the world in a single trip – these are memories I will cherish forever. Besides his desire to travel, he had an insatiable knowledge for planes that went hand in hand.
Greg was a very loving and caring person always putting others before himself, generously donating to numerous charities. He was an avid reader, political enthusiast and history buff with a fascination for WWII. I will miss his dark sense of humour that always brought a smile to my face.
Greg, I already miss you very, very much and will love you always. Until we meet again, you will be forever in my heart.
I love you,
Norm.
P.S. Give Blanch and Betsey a hug for me.
