Obituary of Frank Myslik
MYSLIK: Frank John –
A lifelong resident of Howard Township, Frank Myslik passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus with his family at his side on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at the age of 77.
Born at the home farm in Morpeth, Frank was the son of the late Joseph and Lillian (Kotek) Myslik.
Beloved husband of 33 years to Bonnie (nee Rivard).
Loving father of Dr. Frank E. Myslik of London and Paul R. Myslik of Morpeth.
Dear brother to Bob Myslik (Sharon) of Guelph, Jim Myslik (Vicki) of Guelph and Cindy Boyd (Lindsay) of Blenheim.
Brother-in-law Patrick Rivard (Mary) and Michael Rivard (Connie).
Dear uncle to Kerri Bertoli (Paul), Sean Myslik (Nancy), Amanda Myslik, Jamie Myslik, Ryan Boyd (Lisa), Dr. Brendan Boyd (Kaitlyn), Connor Boyd, Mark Rivard, Matthew Rivard (Emily) and Elaine Labadie (Matthew).
Frank was a beef and cash crop farmer in Howard Township all of his life. He was an active member of the Kent Cloverleaf Conservation Club, the East Kent Vintage Equipment Club and the 4-H Beef Club. He was an award winning trap shooter and an avid hunter and fisherman.
As per Frank’s wishes, cremation has taken place with a private family interment to be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Blenheim at a later date.
Donations made in memory of Frank to the Foundation of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance or Kent Cloverleaf Conservation Club: ‘Young Bucks Program’ would be appreciated.
