Passed away peacefully Frances Evelyn Hamlyn, retired Bell Aliant worker, age 65. Predeceased by parents Joe and Evelyn Dillion, in-laws Robert and Carrie Hamlyn, husband Ken, and brother Peter. Leaving to mourn her children Mark (Janis), and Jennifer (Barry); cherished grandchildren: Matthew, Anthony, and Emma; sisters and brothers: Sharon (Jim-deceased), Joey, John, Michael, Madonna (Leo), Paul, Angela (Paul), and Catherine (Darrin); in-laws: Alice Dillon, Robert (Shirley), Barbara, Paul (Elaine), Debbie (Len), Sherry (Roger), Wayne (Cheryl), and Michelle (Jack); loving nieces and nephews; and lifetime friends Jack Kavanagh, and Linda Courage. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, March 28th, 2018 from 10 a.m – 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 29th, 2018 at 10 a.m from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist, with inurnment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Canadian Mental Health Association, the SPCA, or a charity of one’s choice.
