Florence Cormier
1933-2018
Florence Cormier, 85, of Foyer Saint-Antoine and formerly of
Saint-Antoine, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the
Foyer Saint-Antoine on Tuesday December 18, 2018. She was married to
Alvin Cormier. Born in Saint-Damien, she was the daughter of the late
Sylvain and the late Béatrice (Cormier) Collette.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Alvin, her five children;
Christine Cormier, Jeanne Cormier, Eugère (Yvonne), Clarence
(Yvette) all of Saint-Antoine and Liza Cormier-Landry (Martial) of
Saint-Damien, her four grandchildren; Stéphane, Nicole, Daniel,
Jolyne and two great grandchildren; Ariel and Chelsea. She also
leaves to mourn one sister; Yvonne Bourque of Saint-Antoine and one
brother: Zoël (Catherine) of Leominster, MA as well as several
nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by two sisters; Dora and Maria and two brothers;
Léo and Léonard.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine L’Ermite Roman
Catholic Church Slumber Room, Saint-Antoine on Thursday December 20
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Friday from 9 to 10:45 am. A funeral
Mass will be celebrated on Friday December 21, 2018 at the
Saint-Antoine Church at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery
in the spring.
In Florence’s memory, donations may be made to the Foyer
Saint-Antoine.
