Pleasant Ridge – Surrounded by her loving family, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Friday April 20th, 2018, passed away at the age of 63, Fernande Caissie, wife of Yvon Caissie of Pleasant Ridge. Born on November 24th, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Thaddée Bourque and Eva Finnigan Bourque.
Besides her mother and her husband, she is survived by her children: Angèle Caissie (Gilles Poirier) and her children, Alexa and Tyler; Philippe Caissie (Véronique Gauthier) and his children, Marylou and Raphaëlle; Donald Caissie (Angela) and his children, Alyssa and Gabriel; her brothers and sisters : Jacques Bourque (Vicky), Diane Bennett (Brian), Lucie Richard (Adrien), Jeanne-D’Arc Caissie (Lionel), Vital Bourque (Antoinette), Malcolm Bourque (Jeanine), Léandre Bourque (Tina), Lina Pitre (Raymond), Hélène Lanteigne, Annette Pitre (Yvon), Rose-Ella Richard (Jean-Claude) and Daniel Bourque (Clara); an ex son-in-law, Ray Dignam, as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, godsons, goddaughters, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Thursday April 26th at 2pm at salon « La Colombe », 11325, route 126 in Rogersville. The funeral service will be held at the St-François-de-Sales RC church in Rogersville, Friday, April 27th, at 11:30am.
Visiting hours: April 26th from 2pm to 4pm and from 7 pm to 9pm and April 27th from 9:30am until the departure.
The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors of the Dr Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre of Moncton and of the Miramichi regional Hospital, Dr Blanchard and nurse Maxine Robichaud.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tree of Hope foundation.
