Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and sister Marie on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the age of 54 years after a short, but strong, battle with cancer.
Marie was predeceased by her father Dolphus (1980), brother Paul (1999), and brother David (2018).
She will be lovingly remembered by her mother Ann, husband Pat, children Brandon and Ashley, granddaughter Laura, sisters Caroline (Jeff), Georgina (Duane), Brenda, Barbara (Denis), Sherry (Rodney), Janice (Brian), Shelly (Dean), brother Dwayne, and many nieces and nephews.
Marie enjoyed the outdoors, including camping, swimming, and working in the yard. She loved cooking, and had aspirations to one day own her own business. She also enjoyed being around children, and had a gift working with special needs children. Her past-times included movies, music, playing board and card games, and collecting antiques and various pieces of Native artwork for her home.
Besides her children, Marie was most proud to have a granddaughter. Marie’s memory will live on in the tree she planted for Laura.
