Everett S. Tompkins
1929-2018
The death of Everett Scott Tompkins formerly of Riverbank occurred on
Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Carleton Place, Hartland, NB. Born
October 19, 1929 in Riverbank he was the son of the late Leon and
Violet (Chase) Tompkins. He was also predeceased by his first wife,
Joyce; 7 siblings, Bernice, Edmund, Cecil, Verna, Allen, Maurice and
Wendell.
Everett is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; 4 children; Blaine
Tompkins, Allison Tompkins, Wanda Yuill and Janet Prince (Neil); 5
grandchildren, Lee Yuill, Craig Yuill, Marsha Yuill, Matthew Prince
and Rachael Prince; 3 great grandchildren, Joslyn, Rain and Owen as
well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Everett was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207
Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from
4-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at
2:00 pm. Rev. Ken Stoddard will officiate. The interment will be in
the Hunter Cemetery, Stickney. A reception will follow the interment
at the Stickney Rec Centre. Donations made to the Hunter Cemetery or
to Family Worship Centre would be appreciated.
