Obituary of Evelyn Price
Mrs. Evelyn Elinor Ferne Price was born in Rockville , NB on April 15, 1934 to Herbert and Janet (Parlee) Adair.
Evelyn was a strong, loving and kind hearted woman who loved her family with every ounce of her being. She was a registered nurse and was always looking after everyone. She had a heart of gold and wanted to make sure that everyone had the care they deserved.
She loved to watch basketball, volleyball and softball and was the number one fan for all her grandchildren, no matter what they were involved in and always gave two thumbs up from the stands. She was even able to give her granddaughter, Kelly her RN pin when she graduated.
Evelyn loved her winters spent in Lakeland , Florida . She had a passion for sewing, quilting, cross stitch and playing cards, especially Auction 45’s. She loved attending auctions, which was most likely the reason she collected: china, teapots and spoons.
She will live on in the hearts of her daughter, Kathy DeBow and her husband Fred of Jeffries Corner; her brothers: Doug Adair of Millbrook, Winston Adair and his wife Trena of Drury’s Cove and Alton Adair and his wife Shirley of Adair Rd; her sisters: Lorna Crothers of Drury’s Cove and Joan MacAfee and her husband George of Waterford; her grandchildren: Brandon DeBow of Jeffries Corner, Brent DeBow and Stephanie Beakbane of Toronto and Kelly DeBow and Murray MacIntosh of Fredericton; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Evelyn Elinor Ferne Price of Sus Corner passed away at the Sus Health Center on December 19, 2018 at the age of 84.
Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her brothers: Lloyd and Delbert (Ina); her sisters: Freda McFarlane (Milford) and Jean Cunningham (Alton).
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus , (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 12-2pm. A service celebrating Evelyn’s life will be held immediately following in the Wallace Community Chapel.
