Evelyn Arlene Graves
Graves, 92, of McNair Manor, and formerly of Ammon and long time
resident of Sunny Brae, passed away peacefully at her residence on
Wednesday, November 14, 2018.
Born November 24, 1925 in Ammon, she was
the daughter of the late Thomas and Alma (Rogers)
Evelyn was a
loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. As a
young woman she went to work in the Mail Order Department of the T.
Eaton Co. Ltd. Evelyn was an active member of Sunny Brae Baptist
Church, having served her church in various capacities over the years.
She enjoyed needlepoint, word searches and took great pride in her
home and her family.
be sadly missed by her loving daughter, Susan McNair (David) of
Moncton; grandchildren, Amy McNair and Kara Miller (Naaman), both of
Moncton; great grandchildren, Meghan, Isaac, Jackson, Elle, Weston,
Lacey, Anna and Libby; sister, Shirley Ward (Lawrence) and brother,
Thomas Bulmer (Jean), as well as several nieces, nephews and extended
to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
(1994); sisters, Muriel and Marjorie and brothers, Donald and
Evelyn’s family would like to extend a
heartfelt thank you to Dr. Suzanne Hall-Losier, Dr. Sylvie Roberge,
Bev Atkinson RN, EMH and the staff at McNair Manor for the
compassionate care and love given to
at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (885-1995). on
Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to celebrate and honour
Evelyn’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel
on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Colin Cook
leading the service. A reception will follow in the Funeral Home
Reception Centre. Private family interment to be held in Fair Haven
Memorial Gardens on Monday, November 19,
