At the age of 83, of Wasaga Beach (Barrie), was called to her heavenly home on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital with family by her side. Her devotion to her family and belief in God carried her through the last few years without her husband Sinc.
Proud and cherished mother of Gord (Marilyn) and Nancy (Taro) Nakamura. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Kerry (Matthew) Sinikivi, Tyler, Mac, Tim, Josh and Emily. Sadly missed by her twin sister Doris (the late Stuart) Lee and also her sister Norma (the late John) Kempers as well as Lawson Huang. Evelyn will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends will be received at First Baptist Church (550 Grove Street East Barrie) on Saturday, from 5 – 7 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at First Baptist Church on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 2 o’clock p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church, Barrie.
