Emmanuel Montanano Chipongian
Emmanuel Montanano Chipongian passed away peacefully at 8:58 p.m., Monday, February 26, 2018, surrounded by his wife Corazon of 49 years, and his three sons.
He was born on December 25, 1939 in Laguna, Philippines. He immigrated to Canada in 1974. Emmanuel worked at the Canadian Pacific Railway for 25 years.
Emmanuel leaves behind his wife Corazon; sons Noel (Rowena), Chris (Sandra), Jason (Joy); grandchildren Kayla and Kemmerly, Elise and Sean, the youngest Luke; as well as many relatives and close friends.
His family would like to thank the staff at the Grace Hospital, unit 3 North, for their care and understanding.
Lamay will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Friday, March 2, 2018 at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, March 3, 2018 at St. Edward’s Church. Interment and reception will follow at Glen Eden Funeral Home.
