OBITUARY
Emma Beatrice Ford
17 March , 1912 – 9 May , 2018
Ford, Emma Beatrice – Age 106 of Ohio, Digby Co. Passed away May 9, 2018 in Villa Acadienne in Meteghan, Nova Scotia.
Born in Hasset, she was a daughter of the late Amedee and Madeline (Doucette) Gaudet. Emma attended church until she no longer could get there. She loved her family and friends; was kind, caring and would give whatever she could to help another and if her family gave her a bag of candy she would go around to others giving them all away. She kept a very detailed birthday and record book of people, deaths and more, if anyone needed information, she was always the one to ask.
Emma is survived by grandson, Bryan (Gisele) Foy, Michael (Mariette) Foy, Danny (Carol) Foy; great-grandchildren, Nicole Foy, Liette Foy, Chris Foy; great-great grandchildren, Emma, Amy and many nieces and nephews.
Emma was predeceased by husband, Wilfred “Bill” Ford; daughter, Dorothy Walker; sisters, Pauline Rice, Ida Sabean; brothers, Joe Gaudet, Ernest Gaudet, Eddie Gaudet and Alphonse Gaudet.
Cremation has taken place under the care of Jayne’s Funeral Home in Digby, a graveside service will take
place at a later date.
