Obituary for Elizabeth Jay
Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia. Elizabeth Jay, of Sarnia, was in her 77th year. She will be missed by her children; Mike and Tammy, Stephen and Karen, Keith and Gudrun, Sandra and Paulo, and Larry and Toni. She was beloved grandmother to the late Matthew, Adam, Meaghan, Michael, Matthew Stephen, Shawn, Brittany, Brandon, Jason, Jeffery, Christine, Rachelle, Kevin, Kyle, and Alyssa and her numerous great grandchildren. She is survived by a sister Marion Whyard of Dryden. She was predeceased by her partner Bruce McKay, her parents Russell Jay and Esther Johnston, her brother Daniel. Elizabeth was a retired Developmental service Worker with London Community Living. Visitors will be received on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 6 to 8 from the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, Petrolia where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow in Hillsdale Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (www.cancer.ca).
