OBITUARY
Elizabeth Eilleen Slater
April 10, 1950 – December 18, 2018
It is with great sadness to announce that a wonderful wife, mother and grandma Elizabeth passed away on December 18th in Nanaimo.
Elizabeth was born in Comox on April 10, 1950 to parents, William and Frances Shepherd. She lived in the Comox Valley for a big part of her life and even met the love of her life, Gene Slater there whom she married 49 years ago.
In 1974, Elizabeth, Gene and their two children, Dan and Kerri moved to Port McNeil where they built their life together and made lots of long lasting friendships. Elizabeth will be dearly missed for her knittings and her devotion and dedication to her family.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Gene, children Dan (Tina) and Kerri (Shane) and grandchildren, Colton, Bree and Jakob and Kalli, her brother Frank (Jean), numerous brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
There will be no service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to BC Diabetes www.bcdiabetes.ca/donations .
