Obituary Overview
Edith « Louise » Robinson
Louise passed away peacefully on August 1, 2018, with
family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry Robinson; son,
Larry Robinson; daughter, Shirley Hubbard; as well as her parents, Frank and
Hannah Randal; siblings, May Randal, Gene Randal and Gwen Wilson.
She is survived by her daughter, Maxine Huston (Wayne); grandchildren,
Don Mac Leod (Patricia), Mike Huston (Lorea), David Huston (Diana); eight great
grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
She was a stay at home Mom until her children were in
their teens. She then went to work for the Granada Inn and North Hill Inn. She made
many life time friends there, and was known to sing while she worked. She
retired in 1985.
Louise enjoyed traveling and took many bus tours and one
special trip to Hawaii. She loved her
Edmonton Oilers and Edmonton Eskimos and despised the Calgary Flames and
Stampeders.
Mom taught us the value of family and to respect and
treasure seniors. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her
unconditional love.
The family is sincerely grateful to Dr. Mulholland, the staff
at RD Hospital and the staff and volunteers at the Red Deer Hospice.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on
Saturday, August 18 2018 at Eventide Funeral Home, 4820 – 45 Street, Red Deer,
AB.Memorial donations to the Red Deer Hospice Society will
be greatly appreciated.
