Duncan MacDougall
Passed away on June 3rd, 2018 in his 97th year. Predeceased by his wife Loreen who has been waiting for him to join her. “Dochie” is survived by his four children, Douglas, Frank, Roberta and Elizabeth with their loved ones including nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Duncan worked for 42 years with the Bank of Montreal. He served in a number of towns and cities in Manitoba and Saskatchewan including Winnipeg, Maple Creek, Siemens, Gladstone, Portage La Prairie, Limerick, Belmont, and Souris. He served with the Canadian Armed Forces, (CANLOAN) during the Second World War and was wounded in combat in Belgium. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Boniface Palliative Care Centre for their compassion to Duncan for his last few days. We also want to thank Dr. Junaid, Dr. Harding, Dr. Racette and the Cancer Care doctors and staff.
Dad was as sharp as a tack to the end and never lost his sense of humor or dry wit. We have many fond memories and will miss him.
