Douglas Sterling
1938-2018
It is with sadness that we announce the
passing of Douglas Percy Sterling, age
79, of Amherst, formerly of Springhill.
Doug passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the
Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre.
Born in Springhill, NS, he was a son of
the late James and Esther (Mitchell) Sterling.
He will be dearly missed by his wife
Audrey Legere; step children Kevin (Karen) Legere, and Geraldine
Legere, all of Amherst, NS; step grandchildren Natasha, Corey and
Monique; six step great grandchildren Austin, Braxton, Chase, Mason,
Serenity and Ember; sisters Betty Sterling and Amy (Richard)
Fulton.
He was predeceased by his step daughter
Susan Legere as well as several siblings.
Arrangements are under the care and
direction of Furlong~Jones Funeral Home,
70 Church St., Amherst, NS (902-667-8777). There will be no visitation or
funeral at this time. Doug
will be laid to rest in Five Islands in the Spring.

choice.
