Heavens welcomed another angel today. Mom lost her courageous battle with cancer, she is now soaring with her beloved birds. Mom was all about family; not only raising her own 5 children but an additional 39 foster children through the years. She enjoyed fishing, camping and travelling which included a little gambling as well. She also liked to crochet and paint during her retired years. She is survived by her long-time companion Dick Huebner, sons Marcel (Norma) Morneau, Rene (Vera) Morneau and daughters Louise (Cliff) Collins, Colette (Steve) Burns and Elaine Morneau, sisters Lorraine (Harry) Guadet and Annette (Harry) Turner, brothers Bruno (Hughette) Neider and Frank (Marg) Neider, 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and extended family Richard (Karen) Huebner. Aunty Dot was also adored by numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her mother and father Lucie and Wilfred Neider. As per moms wishes there will be no funeral held. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Special thank you to Dr. Cunningham, the wonderful staff at Hospice House and numerous doctors & nurses at VJH and KGH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dorothee’s memory to the Hospice House.
