CARROLL VAILLANCOURT, Doralice (née Pilon)
It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing on Tuesday, August 14th, 2018 at the age of 97 years. Daughter of the late Honoré and Alma (née Dellaire) Pilon. Predeceased by her husband Roger Vaillancourt 1955, Earl Carroll 2006 and by her partner Joe McLaughlin 2010. Loving mother of Lillian Rivet, Pauline (Marcel Dufresne), Gérald Vaillancourt (Lorraine), John Vaillancourt (Claire), Marcel Vaillancourt (Colette), Lina Lacroix and Jo-Anne (Patrick Lafond). Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Emiliana Séguin (late Frank), Agnès Lamarche (late Damien), Réjeanne Dumont (late Joe), René (late Juliette), Fernand (late Rita), Germaine (late Oscar), Delphine Byrnes (late Tom), Raymond (late Edna) and Steve (Hélène). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 20 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Doralice was a proud and long time member of the Daughter of Isabella. The family expresses their most sincere appreciation to the staff at the Elizabeth Centre for their kind and compassionate care. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Sunday, August 19th, 2018 from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 20th, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St-Jean de Brébeuf Church, Sudbury.
