Donald Gordon Bremner
Bremner, Donald George – age 78 of Lawrencetown. Passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 in St. Vincents’ Nursing Home. He was the last surviving member of the Bremner family. Born October 23, 1939 he was a son of the late Harry and Gladys (Gay) Bremner. Donald is survived by his wife of 57 years, Doreen (McKinley); daughters, Debbie Day (Eric), Dana MacDonald (Allan); son, Stephen (Tammy); grandchildren, Christopher, Leah, Erica and Lawrence. Donald is also survived by several nieces and nephews; special niece Karen Brunette (Frank) and sister in law, Joyce Shrum. He was predeceased by his parents; sisters, Vera Bremner, Helen Patton, Hazel Thurrott; brother, Gordon and grandson, Matthew. Donald worked 15 years with Fairey Aviation and retired after 25 years with IMP Aerospace. We would like to thank 5th floor staff of St. Vincents Nursing Home for their care. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held 10am Saturday, September 1st followed by a reception in Atlantic Funeral Homes, 771 Main Street Dartmouth.
