Obituary of Deborah Hitchon
Hitchon, Deborah « Debbie »
Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 3rd 2018, her 61st year. Those who knew Debster69 will definitely miss the one-liners, tidbits of Debisms, her cackling laugh and Red Diablofire. She is survived by daughter Brandi (husband Luke) grand daughters Emma and Tearah, sister Terry (Rob), brother Kenny and posthumously by parents Lillian and Harold, son David Russell (Rusty) and Kate Stratford. In addition to family she was adopted mom to many and made sure her life lessons and experience was shared over a number of double Rum and Cokes along the way. (Lots of ice, lots of rum, splash of coke). She will be remembered as the life of any party she joined, and she will continue to sprinkle reminders of her tenacity through various Deb-intuitions, which means she will never have actually left us in the first place. We wouldn’t have it any other way. At her request cremation has taken place, and in true form a celebration of life will be held on Thursday November 8th from 4 until 8pm at Brando’s on Market street, where we can laugh, regale tales, and have a toast to an incredible soul. Arrangements entrusted with BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Ave. Brantford, 519-752-4331. Donations can be made to the Stedman Community Hospice.
A tree will be planted in memory of Deborah in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Deborah
