Charles Edward « Charlie »
Morgan – 59, of New Minas, NS. It is with profound sadness that we
announce the passing of Charlie on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at the
Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, after a short battle with cancer.
Born in Kentville, NS, he was a son of the late Clinton and Dorothy
(Fraser) Morgan and loving husband of Pam (Whiston) Morgan. Charles
was an employee of Pepsi Co., formerly Hostess, for over 38 years. He
was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching his favourite
hockey team, the NY Islanders. In addition to his wife, Pam, he will
be sadly missed by his two children, Aaron and Allison (Chris Martin);
cherished grandson, Eli Robin; two sisters, Brenda (Roland) Barrett
and Darlene Wentzell; as well as numerous extended family members.
Visitation will take place from 6-9 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 in
the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service,
followed by a reception, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February
10, 2018, Reverend Gary Manthorne officiating. Following the
reception, burial will take place in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam
Mill. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations in memory to
be made to a charity of choice. Funeral arrangements have been
entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services,
Kentville.
