Celia Ella Mae Sharp
1952-2018
Celia Sharp of Maple Ridge, NB passed away on September 3, 2018 at
Carleton Manor. Celia was born on January 26, 1952 at Woodstock, NB,
a daughter of the late Ray and Marie (Reed) Christie.
Celia was a member of Maple Ridge and Millville Wesleyan Churches
where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School. She drove
school bus for sixteen years, followed by employment at District 14
office for the next seven years. Celia enjoyed hunting, gardening,
baking, quilting, crafts and scrapbooking. Spending time with her
family was very important to her.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Stephen Sharp; three sons,
Anthony (Jennifer), Southampton, NB, Scott (Tammy), Maple Ridge, NB
and Trevor (Megan), Calgary, AB; a daughter, Emily Clark (Dean),
Woodstock, NB; six grandsons, Josh Sharp, (Jennifer), Jesse Sharp ,
Brandon Holt; Nathan Sharp, Sam Eklund, Devin Sharp, Cohen Clark, five
granddaughters, Savanna Sharp, Raylene Clark, Makayla Holt, Maddison
Sharp and Mallory Sharp; one great granddaughter, Sophia Sharp;
siblings, Edwin Christie (Linda), Pansy Carr (Donnie) and Leon
Christie (Judy), all of Temperance Vale, NB; several aunts, uncles,
nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by an infant brother
Aubrey and a grandson Quinn Clark.
Resting at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB with
visiting hours on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service
will be held at Maple Ridge Wesleyan Church, Maple Ridge, NB on
Friday, September 7, 2018 at 2 pm with Rev. Wayne Blinn officiating.
Interment at Maple Ridge Cemetery. A reception will follow at the
church.
