It is with profound sadness and warm memories that we announce Cathy’s passing on August 17, 2018 surrounded with the love of her family. Predeceased by her beloved parents, Nan (1983) and Harold (1984), she is survived by Ron, her adored children and their spouses, Rowand (Jennifer), Emily (Gregg) and Charlie (Jad), her treasured grandchildren, Gray, Ellie, Mara and Sadie, and her dear brother, Bob (Janet). A woman with boundless energy, a colourful spirit, an effervescent disposition and immense compassion, she would light up every room she entered. Cherished by her many friends, her unflagging willingness to lend a hand when asked was renowned. Despite her health struggles over the last few years, she always remained cheerfully optimistic and greeted her visitors with a fond smile. Her family thanks the staff of Point Grey Private Hospital who treated her with kindness, compassion, and dignity in their care for her for the past 2 years. To the end, she insisted on wearing polka-dot pajamas! A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Marine Drive Golf Club, 7425 Yew St, at 3:00 p.m.
