It is with a heavy heart that the family announces the sudden passing of Bernadette Greene on Wednesday January 10, 2018 at age 87 after a full life devoted to family, community service and a deep sense of Church and faith . Beloved mother of Terri Ranger (Rheal), Paul Greene (Rachel), Sean Greene (Jackie) Bonnie-Sue O’Brien (Robert) and Sara Jacklin (Scott) and proud grandmother of Christopher Greene (Rose), Rhyan Ranger, Jacy, Jaimie and Ben Jacklin and Olivia and Liam O’Brien and proud great-grandmother of Tysen and Brody Greene. Survived by her sister Anna Kirk of London, Ontario. Bernadette grew up in Sheffield Twp in a large family and lived in Kingston, Elliott Lake, South America, Northern Quebec, North Bay and for the past fourteen years in Oakville where she established many warm and lasting friendships. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West on Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at St Michael’s Church, 181 Sewell Drive, Oakville at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations to St. Michael Roman Catholic Church www.stmichael-oakville.org/ or St. Matthew Roman Catholic Church saintmatthew.ca/ both of which were an important, meaningful part of her life.
