Calvin ‘Cal’ Walker
(Resident of Eagle Lake, Ontario)
Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre in Peterborough on Saturday morning, May 5, 2018 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Gerd Walker. Loving father of David (Sheri) and Kenny (Penny). Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Jennifer, Mike, Charlene, Crystal, Luke, Meghan, Jack and his great grandchildren Marcel, Hailey and Rilyn. Predeceased by his daughter Cindy, his brother Don, and sisters Evelyn & Jane. Also lovingly remembered by his son in law Bob Chambers and his nieces and nephews. Cal worked the De Havilland Aircraft Company as a Flight Service Mechanic for many years. He enjoyed working in his workshop and in helping other with their projects.
Visitation, Memorial Service & Reception
Friends are invited to call at MAPLE LAKE UNITED CHURCH Algonquin Highlands, Ontario on Friday morning, June 1, 2018 from 10 o’clock until time of Memorial Service at 11 o’clock. Interment Maple Lake United Church. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Maple Lake United Church Point In Time – Food For Kids would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the HALIBURTON COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 13523 Hwy. #118, Haliburton, Ontario (705) 457-9209.
