Bryan Luckett
Our marathon man has finished his final race. On Saturday, December 15, 2018, Bryan passed away at age 58 in the comfort of his home in Windsor, Ontario one year after being diagnosed with Renal Cancer. Born in Weston, Ontario, Bryan was predeceased by his parents Ernest Lloyd and Viola Mae (Genoe). He reluctantly leaves behind his wife of 27 years, Rochelle, and his daughter and “Sunshine”, Isabella. Little brother to Sharon Vescio and husband, Joe of Brampton, ON. Special brother-in-law to both Walter and Eric (Heather) Emery. Ever-tolerant son-in-law to Walt and Michele Emery. Constantly amusing uncle to Sarah, Nicholas, Heather, Alivia, Dylan, Brenton and Cassia who will miss his sense of humour and having fun in the pool. His pets, Prudence, Two-Face and too many other felines will miss begging food from him. Bryan was a dedicated employee of Princess Auto for over 10 years where he made many dear and loyal friends. An alumnist of McMaster University in Hamilton, Bryan graduated with a BA in History. Bryan also was an accomplished runner despite starting later in life, and completed 10 marathons including the distinguished Boston Marathon. An almost-obsessed audiophile, Bryan’s stereo system and music collection were the envy of many. A passion that he also shared with his best friend Ralph Chapman of Barrie, ON, who he loved as a brother. Our profound thanks to our cousins Jeff and Lisa McBride, Hospice and VON Health Care teams for their compassionate care of Bryan and the entire family when they were needed most. If you so desire, in lieu of flowers, a donation of cat food would be appreciated by the family as Bryan helped to help care for the feral cats in his neighbourhood.

Visiting Friday from 3-6 p.m. with service at 6 p.m. at FAMILIES FIRST, 1065 Lauzon Rd., East Windsor, 519-969-5841. Cremation to follow. Interment at St. Philips Cemetery in Weston, Ontario at later date.
