Wolfram Erich Brandstetter
1943 – 2018
Our family is deeply saddened to announce the loss of our husband, father and grandfather, Wolfram Erich Brandstetter. Wolf passed away suddenly on February 7, 2018 at the age of 74 in Kelowna, BC.
Wolf grew up in Germany and met his high school sweetheart Barbara in 1960. They later moved to Canada and raised their two children; Jacqueline and Mark in Pickering, Ontario.
He made his career working for the TTC for 27 years. Upon his retirement they moved to Westbank, BC where Wolf spent the last 10 years working as a bus driver for Westwood Retirement.
Dad loved the BC scenery and one of his biggest life enjoyments was watching his sons flying career take off. His favourite sport was soccer and he loved to watch Team Germany during the European and World Cup games. He was also blessed to have 2 grandchildren; Erich and Cade.
Wolf was predeceased by his parents Erich and Susanna and his siblings Hartmut and Gabriele. He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years Barbara, his children; Jacqueline and Mark and his grandchildren; Erich and Cade.
