Boulos El Zayat
1937-2018
It is with sadness that the family of Boulos El Zayat
announce his death at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Friday,
December 28th, 2018 at the age of 81. Born in Beirut, Lebanon, on
April 18th, 1937, he was the husband of Josephine El Zayat of
Fredericton.
In addition to his wife, Josephine, Boulos leaves behind his
sons, Tony and Gabriel El Zayat (Shannon Wright); daughters, Marie
Youssef (George), Amel Sader (George), and Nawal Awada (Bilal); 9
grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
Boulos will be remembered by his family as a devoted husband
and great father who served his home country proudly. He had an
equally deep love for Canada. He will be sadly missed.
Visitation will be held at McAdam’s Funeral Home on
Wednesday, January 2nd, from 6-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated from St. Charbel’s Maronite Catholic Church on
Thursday, January 3rd, 2019 at 11 am with Fr. Chadi Kattan as
celebrant. Interment will take place in the Hermitage Cemetery at a
later date. For those who wish, donations in Boulos’ memory
can be made to St. Charbel’s Catholic Church.
