BONNEAU, Linda Diane
—
It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our loving mother, wife, grandmother, Linda Diane Bonneau. She was the sweetest, kindest, most loving and giving person we know.
The world has lost another fine woman. Linda passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the age of 62 years. Linda was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta where she had an active and happy childhood: the home was a busy place, full of laughter and friends. Her mother Olga was a great cook and she passed on her savoury festival food which attracted all the family to the gatherings to which all were welcome. Her father Cliff ran a service station. Linda married Tony Miles, raised two sons and one daughter in Edmonton. In 1995 she married Patrick Bonneau for the last 25 years and forever & forever. Despite all the challenges Linda faced in her life, she woke up every morning with her three children in her heart and Pat and Peanut (her dog) by her side with a coffee.
Linda was predeceased by her Mother Olga, step-dad Jim, father-in-law Patrick, mother-in-law Dorothy, Baba Nancy and Grandma Helen. She is survived by husband Pat; children: Jason, Jefferson (Kim), Carla; father Cliff (Joyce); brothers: Dale, Bob (Jeanne), Doug (Cathy), Mike; sisters: Susan (Peter), Wendy, Colleen, Terri (Ward), Loa (John); sisters-in-law: Gloria (Kevin), Sandra (John); brother-in-law Brian (Carol); grandchildren: Hailey Pearl, Jahniqua Aurora, Jahzaria Anastasia, Jermaine, Jasmine, Julia, Joshua, Amelia, David, Thomas, Anna, Scott, Alex; as well as numerous aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will be hosting a Memorial on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna. A Celebration of Linda’s life will be held right after the memorial at brother Brian’s home, 560 Keithly Road: everyone is welcome!
