Billy Pickard
(Resident of Halliburton, Ontario)
Peacefully in the presence of her family on Monday evening, February 5, 2018 in her 97th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Ed. Loving mother of Pat, John, Wendy (Werner) and Rick (Marisa). Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Lauren, George, Cameron, Tim, Mark and by her great grandchildren Jessica and Trent. Predeceased by her sisters Violet and Ethel. Also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Billy served in the Canadian Army as a Postal Clerk during World War II. She served in England, France, Belgium and Holland.
Celebration of Life & Reception
Friends are invited to call at the ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION BRANCH #129 Halliburton, Ontario on Saturday February 24, 2018 for a Celebration of Billy’s Life at 1 o’clock. Please wear something red in honour of Billy. Interment later Evergreen Cemetery, Halliburton. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #129 Halliburton would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the HALIBURTON COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 13523 Hwy. #118, Halliburton, Ontario (705) 457-9209.
