Bertha Barkley
At the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Thursday, April 26, 2018, Bertha Barkley (nee Hawley) of Chesterville, age 89. Beloved wife of the late Myles Barkley. Loving mother of Francis “Butch” (Judy) of Chesterville, Yvonne Erath (Tass) of Chesterville, Ray (Cathy) of Alliston, Rick (Karen) of Williamsburg, Kenny (Sandy) of Lunenburg and Myles (Christine) of Chesterville. Dear mother-in-law of Marilyn Barkley of Morrisburg. Bertha will be fondly remembered by 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents John and Mildred Hawley (nee Mouck) and her son Ernie Barkley. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, Chesterville, on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, April 30th at 11 a.m. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
