Obituary of Bernice Dean
Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, November 22, 2018, Bernice Dean of Victoria, age 82 years. Predeceased by husband: Richard; daughter: Marilyn; son: Melvin; great-granddaughter: Erica; parents: Abraham and Harriett Sommers; brothers: Lloyd, Alvin, Reuben, and Ralph; sister: Ada. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Linda (Dennis) Whyte, Victoria; three sons: Bruce (Julie), Hr. Grace, Everett (Linda), Small Point, and Neal (Naomi), Ontario; seven grandchildren: Robert (Dana), Amanda (Robert), Ryan (Kim), Chad (Stephanie), Keith, Melinda, and Tiffany (David); eight great-grandchildren: Robert, Kevin, Lauren, Sophie, Nora, Grayson, Norah, and Jacob; two brothers: Arthur (Jessie) Sommers, Carbonear and Gerald (Shirley) Sommers, Victoria; two sisters: Doris Mackey, Mount Pearl and Avis Stacey, Baie Verte; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Saturday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Sunday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Monday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, November 26 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel Pentecostal Church, Victoria. Interment in Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery, Victoria.
